Food is one of the most exciting and challenging relationships we have. Here we are in the kitchen, each of us in a state of concentration that could be a moving meditation, creating a meal.
So many decisions that are verbalized, but many more are not spoken, may be unconscious, or just understood. Who is in charge? Who decided the menu? What are the roles and can they easily change? How do we handle differences of opinion without burning the meal or trimming our fingernails into the main course?
